The Cruise Port of Walvis Bay, Namibia
Come along with us as we explore the cruise port of Walvis Bay, Namibia a stop on our Royal Caribbean cruise. We had no plans when we first got off of the ship, but that soon changed when we booked a tour for $50 each with Johlie Shuttles on the pier. This was a huge savings compared to any excursion offered by Royal. We were taken to see some beautiful white flamingos. Afterwards we went to a stunning pink lake which reminded us of Las Coloradas in Mexico. We stopped at a huge sand dune and then headed into the town of Swakopmund where we found some delicious food, and saw dolphins swimming in the bay. Finally, we stopped at Dune 5 which offered some amazing views from the top.
