What is the BEST Way to Spend Your Port Day in Salerno, Italy?
Come along with us as we explore Salerno, Italy. We were back to back on Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas, so we got to experience this port twice. The first day we explored Salerno itself - with its beautiful parks and gardens. We stopped at a local restaurant serving Roman cuisine, and they definitely beat the restaurants we visited during our last trip to Rome. Before we headed back to the ship we checked out two beautiful churches, one of which may have just earned our number one spot. The second day we had an excursion booked through Royal Caribbean to visit the archeological site of Pompeii. I'll just say we were not impressed with the tour, but Pompeii was amazing.
