BRAVE-ish at Travel Massive
What an absolute joy to meet @IanCumming in person — the visionary who launched Travel Massive ten years ago and helped reshape how the global travel community connects. In 2014, Ian pushed a button in Lisbon and didn’t just launch a platform — he launched a movement. Travel Massive gave travelers, journalists, founders, creatives, and adventure-seekers a place to find each other, share knowledge, collaborate, and build real relationships. Not digital followers — real community. Travel Massive has supported me through so many chapters — from rebuilding my life after divorce, to writing and launching Brave-ish, to creating my “Make Your Own Map” podcast, to speaking at the Travel & Adventure Show. So many of the people who cheered me on, opened doors, and stood beside me — I met through this network. Deep gratitude to Lauren Goldenberg and Audrey Lo who have done such an incredible job leading Travel Massive LA — building thoughtful gatherings, curating conversations that matter, and fostering a sense of belonging in one of the biggest, busiest cities in the world. You create space for connection, collaboration, and kindness — and it shows. Thank you. 💛 We celebrated at Paloma in Venice, and it felt like a full-circle moment — especially being there with my dear friend Amy, who I met during our Princess Cruises travel days. Travel relationships aren’t just fun — they are formative. They shape who we become and how we move through the world. Ten years of Travel Massive = ten years of opening doors, sharing knowledge, and reminding us that the world gets bigger when we travel it together. Ian — thank you for building something that lasts, evolves, and still brings us together. 🌍Here’s to the next chapter — and to all the maps we haven’t made yet. #TravelMassive #TravelMassiveLA #TravelCommunity #WeSaidGoTravel #WomenWhoTravel #MakeYourOwnMap #TravelWriterLife #CreatorsWhoTravel #Travelers #Connections 2023 BRAVE-ish on Travel Massive https://www.travelmassive.com/posts/brave-ish-923783107 2017 Travel Massive Interview: https://www.travelmassiveblogarchive.com/2017/12/lisa-niver-tips-for-travel-writers/index.html
