After surviving 105 hours of delays, food poisoning, and one very chaotic Canadian train journey... I figured I owed my brother a proper holiday. So I took him on his very first cruise - 7 days aboard the MSC Poesia sailing through Alaska's Inside Passage. Glaciers. Humpback whales. A functioning toilet.... Balcony cabin, Butcher's Cut steakhouse, Kaito sushi bar, and a buffet my brother visited four times. He says three. It was four. This is MSC's first Alaska season on the Poesia and I totally understand why they chose it. The Inside Passage is one of the most dramatic stretches of water on the planet. Dawes Glacier alone was worth every nautical mile.
