I Visited Florida's "Worst" Town | Belle Glade

Belle Glade, Pahokee, and Okeechobee are constantly ranked as Florida's worst, most dangerous, and poorest towns. But are these reputations deserved? I spent a day exploring these controversial Lake Okeechobee communities to find out the truth for myself. From talking to a cop with 24 years on the force in Belle Glade to meeting locals in Pahokee's "sex offender city," I discovered the reality behind the headlines. What I found might challenge everything you've heard about these towns. Join me as I visit the places most travel channels avoid and let you decide: Are these really the worst towns in Florida, or have they gotten an unfair reputation? #BelleGlade #Florida #SmallTownAmerica #LakeOkeechobee #Pahokee #TravelVlog #UrbanExploration #FloridaTravel #RealAmerica #TravelDocumentary #Okeechobee #DangerousTowns #PovertyInAmerica #FarmWorkers #FloridaLife #TravelChannel #Exploration #Documentary #madtraveler *Chapters* 0:00 - Introduction: Journey to Lake Okeechobee 2:28 - Arriving in Okeechobee 4:11 - Meeting Kenny: Local Perspective 8:32 - Kenny's Warning About Belle Glade 9:55 - Driving to Pahokee 10:10 - First Impressions of Pahokee 12:27 - Meeting Marvin: Sex Offender City Discussion 13:10 - Arriving in Belle Glade 14:32 - Walking Downtown Belle Glade 15:46 - Conversations with Haitian Shop Owners 16:23 - Meeting the Michigan Transplant 20:05 - Cop's Perspective: 24 Years on the Force 21:11 - Exploring "The Worst Neighborhood" 23:08 - Reality Check: Is This Really That Bad? 25:35 - Farm Workers and Mexico Lindo Grocery 28:33 - Final Thoughts & Conclusion *Follow Me* *►YouTube* https://www.youtube.com/c/madtraveler *►website* https://daveseminara.com/travel/ *►Instagam* https://www.instagram.com/madtravelerdave/ *►Facebook* https://www.facebook.com/DaveSeminaraMadTraveler/ *►Linkedin* https://www.linkedin.com/in/dave-s-8a20a610/ *Mad Traveler Playlists* *►Arkansas* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRv7Ek-_2Mo5TvA2i1NEycwV *►Eswatini* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRtrq_PAJSgtzL1O0CbzdeIX *►South Africa* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRtSDEOtBLcpt43nQrfM_mir *►Lesotho* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRsFseP4mdZpIdkP6_7-c-bB *►My Favorite Hotels* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRuZda0K3_eY4mmo5OvIWQz0 *►Japan* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRtlXh5cG0xQp_q_Uw7xp_z5 *►Suriname* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRvFgiCWPevkwplZY3f3WK3Q *►Florida* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRvPRgNr6VrTlCmiSVeAfopG *►Caribbean* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRuTPkoTJVx0eqtMVJeOLSWA *►Brazil* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRtPqex5yXx2ss_MSZ4PEjd5 *►Accents of the World* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRul15fzmKStcGyn0P7RjHcZ *►Estonia* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRse97h5I1MyyW8UMQGoP4fu *►Ecuador* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRt1SFQZo0KI-8RK1EpVY_bc *►Argentina* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRvZUawRh7pAfUjRphklOiPt *►Latvia* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRtiL_idbFZ70-eMk-2DSJxn *►Finland* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRuTbhKHPxbJbk6H3mZMvAeu *►Niagara Falls* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRvyeTmSNKR7aZoU7i7C58Ti *►Lithuania* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRuODZtD9QGyWZe3Iv-H5xrB *►Uruguay* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRsjkAIu-KYJRm73gMCRNUxc *►Breakfast Around the World* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRus8yQ9mD4lYXcpBDsLcyj- *►Kurt Cobain Footsteps* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRuF4jXUJh47qnnVkcIfPRAv *►Roger Federer Footsteps* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRvYDL65QmCOp2fZ5ZlOykGA *►Airline Reviews* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRtDncKUpMljMup-mSp1IZwe *►Cruise Reviews* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRupKbs6Fn9rSbIYGAKOxjba *►Cruise Karaoke* https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBrxFrsMmRRvC9LgcdUq54TO5t0PeYqlH
