We LOVE This Place! | A Day Out at Alton Towers
Come along with us for a day out at Alton Towers, as we explore the UK's best theme park and take on some of its biggest rollercoasters and thrilling rides, in this theme park vlog. We’re visiting the Alton Towers Resort in September 2026 for a full off-season day at the park, and with the park only being open from 10am until 4pm, we’re determined to make the most of it. From Wicker Man and The Smiler to Nemesis Reborn, Thirteen, Oblivion and Galactica, there are plenty of rides to get through! We also take some time away from the rollercoasters to wander through the stunning Alton Towers gardens, and take in this beautiful park all set around the Towers themselves — making this easily our favourite theme park in the UK. And then there's lunch at the Rollercoaster Restaurant. We share our thoughts on whether the food and experience actually represent good value for money. Oh, and because this is us, we also manage to find a few tenuous links to cruising along the way! So come along with us for a full day at Alton Towers exploring Forbidden Valley, X-Sector, and Dark Forest, as we see how many rides we can squeeze in, enjoy the park at a quieter time of year, and generally have a brilliant day out.
