In this ship tour we walk through many of the main public areas on this classic Voyager-class ship and share what it’s really like onboard in 2026. Explorer of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s popular Voyager-class ships (launched in 2000 and still sailing strong). She’s not the newest ship in the fleet, but she still delivers that classic Royal Caribbean feel with the famous Royal Promenade, solid dining options, pools, entertainment venues, and plenty of activities. We’re doing a zero-dollar / low-spend cruise on this sailing, so this tour is also from the perspective of someone trying to enjoy the ship without spending extra money onboard. In this video we visit most of the key spots we could get to, including: • The Royal Promenade (shops, Café Promenade, bars, and the lively main street vibe) • Casino Royale • Main Dining Room areas • Specialty restaurants and casual spots like Windjammer • Pool decks, Solarium, and outdoor areas • Entertainment venues including the theater and ice rink area • Lounges, bars, and some of the quieter observation spots • Sports and activity areas (rock climbing wall, mini-golf, FlowRider, water slides, and more) • The unique helipad access that some Voyager-class ships still allow We go to most of the popular places, but this is not a complete deck-by-deck walkthrough of every single space on the ship. Some areas were closed, busy, or we simply didn’t make it to everything during our time onboard. Still, this should give you a solid real-world look at the layout, atmosphere, and overall feel of Explorer of the Seas if you’re considering booking her.
