I Stayed at W Barcelona Before My Cruise: It's Not as Close as It Looks
Is the W Hotel Barcelona a good pre-cruise hotel? I stayed the night before my cruise in a Premier Sky King room with a marina view (10th floor and above) to find out whether this iconic sail-shaped hotel is worth it for cruisers. The short answer: I loved it and I'd stay again, but it isn't cheap, and it isn't as close to the cruise terminal as it looks from the ship. What I cover: 🏨 Premier Sky King room tour with marina view 💶 What I paid: around €750 for the night 🚕 Taxi from the W to Barcelona cruise port: 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic, about €45 🛳️ Why it LOOKS next door to the ships but isn't ✅ My verdict: who should book it, and who shouldn't Sailing from Barcelona?
