This video is a BIG one — and one we’ve been so excited to share! Join us for our full Disney Destiny cruise vlog, covering embarkation day and our entire 4-night cruise onboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Destiny. This hour-long video follows on from our Walt Disney World stay and captures everything from travel day to our final goodbye at the end of the cruise. We start the day by checking out of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and heading to Orlando International Airport to catch the brand-new Brightline train — our first time using it. We’re travelling in Brightline Premium, which includes lounge access, food, and drinks… although we quickly learn that you’ll want to arrive more than 20 minutes early to actually enjoy the lounge (definitely learn from our mistake!). We share our honest thoughts on Brightline Premium, the onboard service, and what the journey from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale is really like. After arriving in Fort Lauderdale, we grab an Uber to the Disney Cruise Line cruise terminal and begin our Disney Destiny embarkation day. From check-in to that magical welcome onboard announcement, the excitement really starts to build. ✨ Exploring the Disney Destiny Once onboard, we head straight out to explore. We check out some of the ship’s most impressive spaces, including the stunning Sanctum Bar and the incredible Haunted Mansion Bar, before grabbing lunch up on deck and soaking up those first cruise-day vibes. We then give you a full tour of our Deluxe Oceanview Verandah Stateroom, sharing our thoughts on the space, storage, balcony, and overall comfort. 🍽️ Dining, Entertainment & Life at Sea Dining is a huge part of this cruise, and we experience several of the ship’s rotational restaurants, including: • Pride Lands, the Lion King–themed dinner show • 1923 Restaurant, celebrating Disney animation history • The Marvel-themed restaurant, with immersive storytelling and entertainment We check out all the merchandise available on board as well in Mickeys Mainsail We also visit Marceline Market and other dining spots onboard, along with lounges, bars, shows, trivia, quizzes, and lots of ship exploration. We spend time in the breathtaking Grand Hall, which truly feels like the heart of the Disney Destiny. 🏴☠️ Pirate Night & Fireworks at Sea One of the biggest highlights of the cruise is Pirate Night, complete with themed entertainment, pirate outfits, and fireworks at sea — something Disney Cruise Line does better than anyone. Seeing fireworks over the ocean from the ship is such a special experience and an absolute must-do on a Disney cruise. 🏝️ Nassau & Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point We arrive into Nassau, but choose to stay onboard and enjoy the ship while it’s quieter — one of our favourite cruise tips. Later in the sailing, we visit Disney’s newest private island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. At Lookout Cay, we explore the island, take in the stunning turquoise water, beautiful beaches, and colourful architecture inspired by Bahamian culture. We walk around the island, relax by the sea, and share our first impressions of Disney’s newest island experience — from the layout and atmosphere to how it compares to Disney’s other private destinations. It’s a gorgeous stop and a really special part of this cruise.
