Travel Day Vlog Walt Disney World! Disneys Wilderness Lodge Resort | Virgin Atlantic London Heathrow
Join us for the start of another Walt Disney World adventure as we take you along on our full UK to Orlando travel day vlog! ✈️🏰 In this vlog, we begin our journey by driving down to London Heathrow Airport before using the Heathrow Airport Meet & Greet parking service. We then check in to the Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2 & 3, where we were lucky enough to get one of the BEST runway view rooms overlooking Heathrow Airport! If you’re an aviation fan or avgeek, this hotel is honestly a dream. We spend the evening exploring the incredible Runway Bar, sitting on top of the hotel with panoramic views across Heathrow’s runways while watching planes take off and land all evening long. We grab some food and drinks, plane spot, and soak in the excitement before our flight to Florida the next morning. The next day, it’s time to head to Terminal 3 and check in for our Virgin Atlantic flight to Tampa International Airport — our very first time flying into Tampa instead of Orlando! Before boarding, we check out the Clubrooms lounge at Heathrow to see if it’s really worth the premium price… and unfortunately, we came away a little disappointed. We then board Virgin Atlantic’s Airbus A330 in Economy Class and take you along for the full onboard experience, including the seats, inflight entertainment, food service, drinks, cabin atmosphere and overall experience flying with Virgin Atlantic across the Atlantic to Florida. After landing in Tampa, we show the full arrival process and how easy it is to get an Uber or Lyft from Tampa Airport over to Walt Disney World. We finally arrive at one of our favourite Disney resorts ever — Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! 🌲✨ For this stay, we’re using Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points to stay in a Deluxe Studio at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and we give a full room tour showcasing the layout, features, kitchenette, bathroom and overall feel of the room. We also head down to Roaring Fork for some late-night Disney quick service food after a very long travel day. Finally, we end the night back in the room reflecting on the journey, the travel experience, and the excitement of finally being back at Walt Disney World for another magical trip.
