Everyone Warned Us ABOUT San Juan, Puerto Rico
Everyone told us that if you visit San Juan on a cruise, you have to book an excursion. We decided to ignore that advice and tackle Puerto Rico completely on our own. Join us for Day 4 on the MSC World America as we step off the ship and test out a DIY walking tour of Old San Juan. Once entering the walled city through the San Juan gate, we hit the hot, steep brick streets to see the historic Cathedral. If only we knew more of the history. We also checked out Castillo San Cristobal from the outside and explored the massive Castillo San Felipe del Morro. We share some major tips on what to consider when attempting this with your family, plus we get attacked at a pigeon park and much more. After surviving our accidental hiking tour, we head back to the ship for a night of fun. We hit the bumper cars, test out the Formula One racing simulator, and crush some amazing food at the All-Star Sports Bar.
