Mekong Princess Cruise Day 7 | Angkor Ban Village, School Visit & Life Along the Mekong
Day 7 of our Mekong Princess journey takes us to Angkor Ban in the Kampong Cham region — a riverside community shaped by tradition, routine, and life along the Mekong. The morning began on board with a talk from our local guide, Peter, as we continued upriver toward Angkor Ban. After lunch, we stepped ashore for a village visit, including a blessing at the local pagoda, time with a family in their stilted home, and a walk through the community. One of the highlights was the visit to the village school, where we sat with students as they read and had the chance to speak with the class — a genuine and memorable moment of connection. Back onboard, we sailed toward Kampong Cham for our final evening on the Mekong Princess, gathering for a farewell briefing before enjoying our last à la carte dinner on the river.
