Costa Maya Cruise Port ~ Is It Worth Getting Off the Ship?
Welcome to Costa Maya, Mexico—one of the most popular Western Caribbean cruise ports! Take a quick tour of the cruise port featuring colorful shops, local restaurants, live entertainment, and the beautiful lagoon-style pool that's just steps from your ship. One of my favorite things to do in Costa Maya is the Mayan healing ritual or relaxing with a massage at the spa right in the port. It's a wonderful way to unwind without having to venture far from the ship. Fun fact: Costa Maya has earned the nickname "Costa Maybe" among many cruisers because strong winds and sea conditions can occasionally prevent ships from docking.
