So come along and help us count down the best of Disney world according to the late Michael Jackson. #3 We are at Animal Kingdom theme park in line at Michael Jackson's favorite rides, Kali River Rapids. When imaginers found out that Kali River Rapids was Michael Jacksons favorite they went to work to include him. You heard of Disney's famous "hidden Mickey's". Well what about the hidden Michael in the line for Kali River Rapids. In the last room of the que you will find colorful murals of raft riders going down raging rapids. One of those rapid riders is Michael Jackson with his arms up. My family also loves this ride. There were belly laughs the whole time. While we are in Animal Kingdom we should probably mention Kilimanjaro Safaris. Michael Jackson often tried to recreate Disney World in his own backyard at Neverland Ranch, with his train, amusement park rides and his collection of exotic animals. Michael Jackson had llamas, tigers, lions and reptiles. When Michael died his home zoo was donated to different zoos and sanctuaries around the country. In fact, 2 hours north of Disney World and the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens you can visit one of Michael Jackson's elephants, Ali. And 2 hours south of Disney World you can visit Michael Jackson's most famous animal, Bubbles the Chimp at The Center for Great Apes. #2 Next on our list of Michael Jackson's Best of Disney is 4-D movies. Back in the mid 80's Michael Jackson stared in the 3-D movie Captain EO, that was written by George Lucas and Directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Captain EO is credited with being the first 4-D movie ever because in the Epcot theater, Lasers, lights and smoke were used all in sync with the movie. At the time Captain EO was made it was the most expensive movie of all time at 1.7 million per minute. The villain of Captain EO was played by Angelica Houston. Honorable Mention is the B Hotel, formally the Hotel Royal Plaza. He had a suite here that held a lot of his memorabilia and awards stayed and was inured to be here. Michael Jackson Suite took up the entire 17thh floor. #1 His two favorite Classic rides at Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom. There was of course Peter Pans Flight the ride that flies you aboard a pirate ship over London and Never Land. Michael Jackson has long been obsessed with the character of Peter Pan because he was the boy who never grew up. Michael Jackson himself was said to have Peter Pan syndrom. The 2nd of his favorite Magic Kingdom ride is the classic Pirates of the Caribbean Ride that takes guests on a swashbuckling cruise through pirates. Rumor has it Michael Jackson asked Disney to help recreate the ride at his Ensino home. And little movie trivia, The Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp has a little connection with Michael Jackson. Jackson lobbied hard for the role of Willy Wonka in Tim Burton's remake of the Rohld Dahl classic. The part eventually went to Johnny Depp. However, even though Johnny Depp denies it, fans think they hear and see a little bit of Michael inspiration in his adaptation of Wonka. What did we miss?
