Viking Vela V2 Veranda Stateroom | Cruise and Travel Tips We sailed over 30 days on Viking Vela (launched in 2024) in the lowest stateroom category V2. Using some creative storage solutions, our cabin was never cluttered, despite having clothing options for sub 0 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. We did not have any issues booking restaurants or excursions on the ship and coffee is readily available, so we didn’t miss the in-room coffee maker. Service and food is excellent everywhere, no matter your cabin. Enjoy! TIPS: 1. Utilize IKEAs foldable drawer boxes to keep items organized in open cubby spaces. 2. Easy under bed access to luggage allows you to keep lesser used clothing at the ready when weather conditions change 3. We utilize magnetic hangers to hang coats behind the door. This kept visual clutter hidden.
