🛑 WEATHER WARNING: My Cruise Itinerary Just Changed! | Day 3: Sarandë, Albania 🇦🇱 Welcome back to Day 3 of my 7-day Mediterranean cruise aboard Princess Cruises’ Sapphire Princess! Today marks a major milestone: the first port of call, and we are dropping anchor in the beautiful coastal town of Sarandë, Albania, one of Eurooe's newest cruise destinations. Because this is a tender port, the adventure starts with a scenic water shuttle ride to the pier. From there, I embark on an official Princess shore excursion, "Highlights of Sarandë." Albania was an unexpedtedly plesant surprise! Here is everything I managed to pack into a busy day: Exploring a fascinating ancient Archaeological Site Strolling through the town centre and the pretty waterfront Climbing up to a famous Lekuresi Castle for panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. Journeying into nature to see the mesmerizing, crystal-clear waters of the Blue Eye Natural Park But the drama didn't stop on land... 😮 Back onboard, I'll show you what’s cooking for lunch and dinner, and show you what it takes to load the massive tender boats back onto the ship.
