We recently completed a 7-day Inside Passage cruise to Alaska, and our first stop is the charming capital city of Juneau. Cruising through Alaska’s Inside Passage feels like sailing into a dreamscape—where glassy waters connects towering fjords, snow-dusted peaks, and lush islands draped in mist. More than a cruise, the Inside Passage is a journey into the heart of wild Alaska, where every mile brings a new moment of wonder and quiet connection with nature. 🎯 The Royal princess docked a Franklin Dock with the town of Juneau within walking distance. Arrival was a little before 1:30pm , and all aboard time was at 8:45 PM. Guests could disembark shortly after 1:30pm. Before heading ashore, please remember to bring your Medallion, as it’s required to exit and re-enter the ship, and carry a valid government-issued photo ID in case it’s requested at security checkpoints. Upon your return, all bags will pass through a routine security scan. To comply with local regulations and avoid fines, please do not take food, flowers, seeds, or beverages (except water) off the ship.
