In today's cruise news update, we bring you three major stories from Cruise Hive. First, a first-time cruiser's suitcase vanished on embarkation day aboard Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas — despite filing reports and visiting guest services multiple times, the bag was never found, and Royal Caribbean capped compensation at $300 without travel protection. Next, Norwegian Cruise Line has officially tightened its dress code at upscale specialty restaurants fleetwide, banning flip flops and shorts at venues like Palomar, Onda, Cagney's, and Le Bistro. Finally, Celebrity Infinity suffered a major technical failure off Piraeus, Greece, losing power, Wi-Fi, A/C, and even toilets around 3 AM — the cruise ended a day early and the next sailing has been completely cancelled, with Celebrity Cruises offering compensation to affected guests.
