We’re FINALLY Leaving Vancouver! | Serenade of the Seas Is Sailing Again
We’re FINALLY leaving Vancouver! 🛳️🇨🇦 After the unexpected cancellation of our previous Alaska cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas, several days in Vancouver, ship repairs, changing information and one very unplanned land adventure…it’s time to try this again. And this time, Serenade is actually sailing! If you followed our last video, you know this wasn’t exactly how we expected our Alaska adventure to unfold. We went from preparing to cruise to being told the sailing was canceled and that we had to leave the ship. That sent us scrambling for a hotel, transportation and a completely new plan while we waited to see what would happen next. But you know our philosophy by now: Pivot. Don’t Panic. In this video, we're back aboard Serenade of the Seas in Vancouver and taking you along as the ship prepares to leave port following the repairs. There’s something a little different about sailaway when you've spent the previous several days wondering whether the ship would be ready to sail at all. 😂 Come along as we say goodbye to Vancouver, watch the skyline disappear behind us and finally get this Harrison Adventure back out to sea. If you’re new here, we’re Lisa and Jon of Harrison Adventures. We spend a LOT of our lives traveling—especially aboard cruise ships—and share the good, the bad, the unexpected and occasionally the completely ridiculous parts of life on the road and at sea. If travel has taught us anything, it’s that the adventure doesn’t necessarily end when the plan falls apart. Sometimes that’s where the story starts. 👍 Like the video if you’ve been following our Vancouver adventure. 💬 Tell us in the comments: Would you have gotten back aboard after the previous cruise was canceled? 🔔 Subscribe to Harrison Adventures and come along for whatever happens next!
