Carnival Corporation - the world's largest cruise company - confirmed a data breach in May 2026 affecting nearly 6 million passengers globally. Names, home addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, driver's licence numbers and passport numbers were all stolen in a social engineering attack on a single employee account detected on April 14, 2026. US customers received two years of free credit monitoring through TransUnion. Australian customers received silence.
