Cologne’s Magical Christmas Markets

Cologne is home to some of the most iconic Christmas markets in Germany, and today we explored three of the most popular ones: The Cathedral Market, Angel’s Market, and the Old Town Market. Each one had its own charm… but we quickly learned that visiting on a Saturday is a whole different experience. The markets were absolutely *packed*. At times, the crowds were so dense that it took away from the cozy holiday spirit we were hoping for. It was chaotic, loud, and honestly a little overwhelming. But we decided to make the best of it, soaking up the lights, the music, and the festive decorations wherever we could. And once we found the right pockets of space, the magic of Cologne really did shine through.
