Today we are in the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii and we will be exploring Kalepa’s Store and Hale Manu, the 2 Disney’s stores at Aulani, a Disney’s Hawaiian resort here in the island so join us in this fun adventure. Aulani is Disney’s Hawaiian resort in Hawaii but not in the theme-park way you might expect. Officially known as Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, it’s located at 92-1185 Ali‘inui Drive in Kapolei, Hawaiʻi, along the western shore of the island of Oʻahu. Nestled inside the Ko Olina Resort Community & Marina, Aulani sits right on the ocean, about 17 to 20 miles west of Honolulu International Airport—far enough from the city to feel peaceful, close enough to reach without effort. And the ocean lets you know you’ve arrived before anything else does. You hear it first, the soft shhhhhh of waves brushing the shore, steady, welcoming, ancient. Then Aulani comes into view, rising from the coastline like it belongs there, surrounded by palm trees, lava rock, and sunlight that feels warmer somehow. Ko Olina is quieter than bustling Waikīkī, calmer and more spacious, with calm lagoons, open skies, and island views that invite you to slow down without asking. This isn’t a “run-to-the-rides” kind of Disney place. This is a kick-off-your-shoes, slow-your-breath kind of magic. Aulani is a luxury beach resort first, with Disney magic woven gently into the experience—not plastered on top. Mornings begin softly as the sky stretches pink and gold over the water. You grab coffee, wander past waterfalls that shimmer like they’re showing off, and suddenly you’re floating down a lazy river, doing absolutely nothing and doing it perfectly. Kids dash toward waterslides and splash zones, while adults disappear into infinity pools, the spa, or a quiet lounge chair facing the ocean. Time loosens here.
