After wrapping up an incredible 22-day Journey cruise on the Carnival Luminosa, we arrived in San Francisco ready to hit the ground running! Instead of catching a cab, we stretched our legs with a scenic 1.6 km walk along the Embarcadero straight to our hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott at Fisherman's Wharf. After dropping our bags, we got ourselves sorted by picking up Big Bus and Muir Woods tickets, plus 7-Day Muni Passports for getting around the city. From there, the fun began: • Hopping straight onto an iconic Cable Car, riding up and over the hills to the turnaround and back while hanging off the side • Enjoying world-famous clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Boudin Bakery • Visiting the famous sea lions basking at Pier 39 • Checking into our room at the Courtyard by Marriott • Capping off Day 1 with classic In-N-Out burgers for dinner!
