One of the most unforgettable highlights of cruising to Alaska is witnessing the majestic Dawes Glacier in Endicott Arm. Towering above the icy waters, this awe-inspiring natural wonder is truly a sight you’ll never forget. An Alaskan cruise is a breathtaking experience that immerses travelers in the dramatic landscapes and incredible wildlife of the Last Frontier. From panoramic views of towering glaciers and rugged mountains to pristine wilderness stretching as far as the eye can see, every moment feels like stepping into a nature documentary. The icy waters are full of life, offering endless opportunities to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Whether it’s bears roaming along the shoreline, playful sea otters floating nearby, or porpoises swimming alongside the ship, every encounter adds to the magic of the journey. On this cruise, we were able to see humpback whales, sea otters, bald eagles, bears, and mountain goats.
