Unexpected Stress in Loreto… But It Ended Beautifully | Day 5 | Loreto
Loreto started with stress and confusion… but ended with sunshine, kayaking, and one surprisingly great day. Today we arrived in Loreto, Mexico, our final port stop on our 7-Day Baja Peninsula cruise aboard Holland America’s Zaandam. The day started beautifully. Calm water, sunshine, and a tender ride that was thankfully much smoother than Cabo. We were feeling good heading into our kayaking excursion. Then things got… complicated. A peaceful protest was happening at port, communication around our excursion got messy, and for a while we honestly had no idea what was going on or where we were being taken. It was one of those travel moments where you’re reminded that even on a cruise, unexpected things can happen fast. Thankfully, once everything settled down, Loreto showed us why so many people love this port. Beautiful scenery, warm water, kayaking, local markets, and a much more relaxed vibe than the morning started with. Back onboard, we wrapped up the day with Orange Night, great food, fun music, and one of the most energetic Orange Parties we’ve experienced on Holland America. Not the smooth start we expected… but still a day we won’t forget. Come spend Day 5 with us in Loreto. #LoretoMexico #BajaCruise #HollandAmerica #Zaandam #CruiseVlog #MexicoCruise #TravelCouple #OrangeParty #CruiseLife #StephAndRickUnpacked loreto mexico cruise, loreto excursion, holland america loreto, zaandam loreto, baja peninsula cruise, loreto kayaking, mexico cruise vlog, cruise excursion review, orange party holland america, tender port mexico, cruise travel stress, holland america cruise vlog, steph and rick unpacked
