Our Alaska adventure is finally here... but getting there didn't exactly go according to plan! Our journey begins at Ontario International Airport in Southern California as we head toward Vancouver to board Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas. What should have been a routine travel day quickly turns into a stressful adventure. ✈️ Our first flight is delayed. 🏃 We sprint through Seattle to catch our tiny connecting flight. 😰 We board as the LAST passengers... 🧳 ...but our luggage doesn't make it. After waiting more than three hours at Vancouver International Airport, we're finally reunited with our bags and can officially begin our vacation! Once we arrive in downtown Vancouver, we explore the city during an incredible FIFA celebration, enjoy delicious burgers and authentic Canadian poutine, and soak in the amazing atmosphere. The next morning we hop aboard the ferry to beautiful Granville Island, explore the shops and street performers, grab some amazing Mexican food, and then make our way to the Royal Caribbean cruise terminal. Finally... it's time to board Ovation of the Seas! Watch as our Alaska cruise officially begins with an unforgettable sail away under Vancouver's iconic Lions Gate Bridge. 🌲 This is just Episode 1 of our complete Alaska Cruise Series!
