CRUISE TIPS! 26 Days on Majestic Princess: What I Learned
After 26 days onboard Majestic Princess, our British Isles cruise and first transatlantic journey are coming to an end — and I have learned a few things! We boarded Majestic Princess on September 7 and sailed a 12-day British Isles cruise followed by a 14-day transatlantic. It didn't all go according to plan. Weather caused itinerary changes, we missed ports, excursions changed, and we learned firsthand just how important flexibility can be when cruising. Today I'm sharing some of the things this journey taught me — about longer cruises, transatlantic cruising, planning excursions, dealing with itinerary changes, cruise ship food, and even how long I personally think I want to be away from home. Most importantly, cruising brings together people from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds. Pack your patience, be kind, extend a little grace, and don't let the unexpected keep you from enjoying your vacation.
