We grabbed a taxi from the cruise port, headed to a beach most cruisers skip, went snorkeling, saw a sea turtle and a spotted eagle ray, then explored historic Charlotte Amalie for local food, drinks, shopping, rum, and island history. We also visit Gladys’ Café, Greengo’s Caribbean Cantina, a local street market, the Fort Christian area, and finish the day with the Skyride up to Paradise Point for one of the best views in St. Thomas.
