We leave our Miami hotel, take an Uber to PortMiami and get our first close-up views of Resilient Lady before joining the embarkation line and experiencing the Virgin Voyages check-in and boarding process. The terminal experience didn’t go as smoothly as we expected, and rainy Miami weather changed the sailaway plans—but the day improved quickly after we stepped aboard. Once onboard Resilient Lady, we take a quick look at our cabin and the spa, explore the ship, enjoy a celebratory drink and attend the indoor sailaway party at The Roundabout. Later, we have dinner, see The Diva, enter The Manor and end embarkation day at Virgin Voyages’ famous Pajama Party. We finish the night by returning to our cabin, checking the answers on our whiteboard and sharing our honest first impressions of Resilient Lady.
