🥹 10 months away from home… this is what makes Viking crews incredible 🚢❤️
Story Time ⬇️ 🚢 This is what makes different from all the rest: In a crazy turn of events, our 2 Viking River Cruises have ended up being the last week of the cruise season for both crews. For some context, Viking crews show up for the new season in February and are on their boat until the end of the season in November/December 🤯 This means for that some of the crew, they don’t go home at all for 10 months - they don’t see their families, they work incredibly hard, and are probably exhausted by the end of the season. But you would never know it 🫶 Even though the crews must be absolutely exhausted, drained, and ready for a break and to see their families after so many months, you would truly think that you were on their first sailing of the year 😱 🩵The crew shows up EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. with SO much energy, care, grit, enthusiasm, kindness, and excellence no matter what. They make you feel at home on their boat that truly has served as their home for the year and the crew of Viking is one of the BEST parts of the trip! Viking is excellent in everything they do but the Viking crews REALLY do set it apart, above and beyond any other experience you will have. 🙌 If you are thinking about taking a cruise, Viking can’t be beat! 🚢❤️ 🚨 P.s. this is also a reminder this holiday season to be extra kind to people on the tourism industry because you never know how long they’ve gone without seeing their loved ones 🫶 ✈️ follow along for a realistic behind the scenes look at the world’s best bucketlist destinations 🌎 #vikingcruises #vikingrivercruise #myvikingstory #rivercruise
