I took my first ever luxury cruise: 9 days on Silversea's Silver Muse, a round-trip cruise from Barcelona through France, Monaco, and Spain. After 50 cruises across every major mainstream line, I finally tried a Silversea cruise. However, this cruise on Silversea was NOT what I expected. I paid $6,190 for an entry-level Classic Veranda suite on a reduced solo rate, plus $210 for the streaming internet upgrade. Everything else — food, drinks, gratuities, basic wifi — was included.
