We discuss a Carnival cruise passenger who bragged online about drinking 15 shots of tequila, getting so drunk that security escorted her to her balcony cabin, removed the door handle, took her room keys, and suspended her drink privileges. As a lawyer who sues cruise lines for over-serving alcohol, I question why she wasn't cut off earlier, given Carnival's training on observing signs of intoxication. I share a recent case where I won over $300,000 for a woman similarly served 15 shots of tequila who ended up injured.
