I Tried CocoCay’s VIP Restaurant—Here’s My Honest Review
Is Coco Beach Club at Perfect Day at CocoCay worth the extra cost? In this restaurant review and walking tour, Sean explores the beach club’s dining, infinity pool, and private beach - and explains why the restaurant is the highlight, but the admission price makes the difference. At the Coco Beach Club restaurant, I try a sampler of all the appetizers before choosing broiled lobster and grilled grouper. When I ask which main course to order, my waiter offers to bring both. The seafood tastes exceptionally fresh, and the rum-soaked cake makes an excellent finish. The Watermelon Rita is less impressive. It’s the only cocktail I try during this visit, and I find the flavor disappointing compared with the quality of the meal. Beyond lunch, I show you the infinity pool, upgraded lounge chairs, towels, and beach area. The pool is relatively quiet in the morning but becomes much more crowded by the afternoon. I also encounter a strong current while filming in the sea - a reminder that small waves didn’t mean still water during this visit. My verdict: the restaurant makes Coco Beach Club worth considering, especially at a lower admission price. In the video, I explain why I would see good value around $100 per person but would find it harder to justify at $200. These are examples from this review, not current prices or what I necessarily paid. If you’re weighing Coco Beach Club against spending the day in CocoCay’s included areas, this video shows what stood out to me and where the experience fell short. 🍽️ DINING & BEACH CLUB DETAILS Experience: Coco Beach Club restaurant and beach club access Location: Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas Cruise line: Royal Caribbean Visiting: Sean, solo Dining on this visit: Lunch included with beach club admission Food featured: Appetizer sampler • Broiled lobster • Grilled grouper • Rum-soaked cake Cocktail reviewed: Watermelon Rita Other areas shown: Infinity pool • Beach • Lounge chairs • Cabana areas Our verdict: Outstanding seafood, with overall value dependent on admission price This review reflects a past visit.
