Coral Expeditions Lizard Island Tragedy: Past Passengers Reveal Alleged Counting Methods
I dive into the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of a cruise ship passenger who was sailing aboard Coral Expeditions’ Coral Adventurer. The 81 year old solo, female, traveller was reportedly left on Lizard Island, a remote part of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, during a 60 day circumnavigation cruise. The expedition cruise is distinct from a regular cruise, where inclusions cover expert-guide lead shore exploration. In this video, I revisit the events that as they are reported to have occurred, discuss how Coral Expeditions allegedly counts passenger numbers based on the experience of their past passengers, and explain why this is not like the typical cruise line scenario when a passenger doesn’t return to the ship before it departs. Whatever the impending investigation finds, this is a tragic scenario and I hope that it never happens again. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 🛳️ My website hosts one of the world's most powerful cruise search engines where you can research and even book your next cruise or land holiday.
