Outbreak on the Ruby Princess

We discuss a major norovirus outbreak on the Ruby Princess, with over a hundred passengers reporting severe gastrointestinal symptoms like projectile vomiting and diarrhea. We explain how norovirus spreads through dirty hands, contaminated surfaces, and improperly prepared food, and note that Princess Cruises has initiated enhanced cleaning protocols. We highlight that this is the seventh outbreak reported this year so far, and share our perspective as a cruise line lawyer.
