Come aboard the Diamond Princess for a complete ship tour during our family’s eight-day cruise around Japan! Hi, I’m Amy, and welcome to Rocks to Reefs. In June 2026, our family of four traveled to Japan, sailed aboard the Diamond Princess, and then continued our adventure in Shinjuku, Tokyo. In this video, I’ll take you throughout the ship and show you what it is really like onboard. We’ll begin inside our unique ocean-view stateroom, C103, which came with an unexpected forward-facing balcony and incredible views from the front of the ship. You’ll also see: • Pools and outdoor areas • The Lotus Spa and fitness center • Princess Theater and entertainment venues • Skywalkers Nightclub • Bars and lounges • Complimentary and specialty dining • Kai Sushi by Makoto • Crown Grill and Sabatini’s • The onboard shops • The casino • Helpful tips from our own experience We’ll share some of our favorite places, explain which venues fill up quickly, and help you know what to expect before sailing on Diamond Princess. Are you planning a Diamond Princess or Japan cruise? Let us know in the comments which part of the ship you are most excited to explore! Please like the video, subscribe to Rocks to Reefs, and follow along for more cruise tours, travel adventures, and highlights from our trip to Japan. Please remember that restaurants, prices, schedules, and onboard offerings may change by sailing.
