Carnival Says $99 For Everything?!?
Carnival just rolled out four new FunPacks—but are they worth your money? Let's break them down! These are optional bundles that combine cruise extras into one price. All prices are per person, per day. Kidstarter ($25, ages 3-17): Unlimited soda and juice, Social Wi-Fi, 1,000 arcade tokens, souvenir cup, lanyard, and half-price bulk candy. Zero Proof ($50): Eligible nonalcoholic drinks, Value Wi-Fi, plus a $50 excursion discount and a $25 specialty dining discount. Social ($60): Three alcoholic drinks a day, unlimited eligible nonalcoholic drinks, Premium Wi-Fi, one excursion worth up to $100, and one specialty meal worth up to $55. Plus discounts on eligible spa treatments and Dreams Studio packages. Epic ($99): CHEERS! with up to 15 alcoholic drinks daily, Premium Wi-Fi, TWO excursions worth up to $100 each, TWO specialty meals worth up to $55 each, spa and photo discounts, sparkling wine, and a bag of laundry. Beverage and dining service charges are included! My take? Social looks interesting for someone who enjoys a few drinks and already plans to buy Wi-Fi and an excursion. Epic includes up to $310 in dining and excursions alone—but those are per cruise, not every day. The value depends on what you'll actually use. Purchase through October 30 in My Cruise Manager for eligible sailings through 2027. FINE PRINT: - Eligible departures: Oct. 31, 2026 - Dec. 31, 2027. - Full-cruise purchase required. Adults 21+ sharing a cabin must buy the same FunPack. - Reserve eligible dining, excursions, spa and photo benefits before sailing. Terms apply. - Advertised savings up to 35-55%, depending on package; based on a six-day cruise versus buying separately. Which would YOU choose? Tell me in the comments!
