Cunard Queen Victoria Adventure - Easter 2026 - Part 2 - Sea Day 1
Hi Everyone, Today is our first sea day on Queen Victoria. To start the day we try out room service breakfast for the first time. We were really impressed by the quality of the breakfast, whoch included hot breakfast offerings. Unfortunately they did not include the milk or a third set of cutlery so we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for those items to be delivered. We left our cabin to have a look in the Queen Victoria shops. You will be able to see the snacks and essential items found in the book store alongside a number of interesting books available for purchase. We also visit the Cunard gift shoft, jewellery section where they have some nice Coeur De Lion items and the clothing store. Lunch was calling us so we then visited the Britannia restaurant for a delightful lunch. We all had the steak frites and Emily was delighted by her portion of fries! The model of the Queen Victoria could be found next to the games room and library. The library was fantastic consisting of two floors. Only criticism was that the reference books for travel could only be looked at in the library. Tracy tried he hand at working on one of the jigsaws left outside for people to work on before we had a quick walk up on deck. After some chill time in the cabin we got dressed for formal night. Dinner was exceptional and it was fantastic to see everyone in their formal attire. We enjoyed the formal night entertainment in the Queen's Room before heading to the Theatre to watch Micky Zany. The comedian was entertaining, although I found him funnier during his performance in the variety set later on in the cruise. Afterwards we called it a night.
