Immediately add this to your bucketlist 🤯 Today was our scenic sailing day with Viking, which means no major port stops — just a full day of: ☀️ Lounging 📚 Learning 🌄 And watching some of the most stunning landscapes in Europe drift by We cruised through the Iron Gate Gorge along the Danube with Romania on our right and Serbia on our left, and the highlight of the day was OUT OF THIS WORLD: 🗿 The 2,000-year-old Tabula Traiana plaque🗻 The massive Decebalus statue carved directly into the mountain Seeing these appear around the bend in the river… truly one of the most surreal experiences that we didn’t even KNOW needed to be on our bucketlist!! And the day just kept getting better: 🥮 Apple Strudel Class The culinary team hosted a strudel-making demo and guess who got called up in front of the whole ship? Maddie Did I mess up the dough? Yep. Was it incredibly fun? ABSOLUTELY. ⚓️ Tour of the Captain’s Wheelhouse One of the coolest behind-the-scenes moments — Viking crews are seriously the best. 🌅 Sunset sail into Serbia We were treated to the most magical golden-hour views before exploring an incredible riverside castle at our night port. 🍽️ Traditional Taste of the Balkans Dinner The perfect way to close out an unforgettable day — rich flavors, good company, and stories from three countries in one evening.
