Anthem of the Seas Honest Review - Great… Or Getting Dated?

I’ve just stepped off a 3-night cruise on Anthem of the Seas, including a sea day and a visit to Eden for the Taste of Eden festival — and this trip left me questioning whether Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class still has what it takes to keep Australians interested in 2025. In this review, I share my full experience onboard Anthem: the good, the surprises, the frustrations, and the moments that genuinely impressed me. From the SeaPlex and the North Star to dining, cabins, entertainment and service, I break down everything you need to know before booking a short cruise on one of the world’s most unique big-ship designs. If you’re deciding between Royal Caribbean, Princess, Carnival or any of the other lines sailing from Australia, this video will help you figure out whether Anthem of the Seas is the right choice for your next holiday. What I cover in this review: • First impressions and boarding • Sea day crowds and activities • Entertainment and show availability • Food and dining — MDR, buffet and snacks • My cabin experience • Service across the ship • A full rundown of the Taste of Eden festival • Whether Quantum Class still feels modern in 2025 • Who Anthem of the Seas is best suited for (and who should look elsewhere) If you’ve sailed on Anthem — or any Quantum Class ship — let me know your thoughts in the comments. I read every comment and love hearing your experiences. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to subscribe for more cruise reviews, cruise news and ship tours from Australia and beyond.
