I was so excited for our Clearwater Beach trip. I had the perfect plan. . .Then we postponed it. 😩

We were supposed to be in Clearwater Beach next week, staying at the Hilton Clearwater Beach for a few days with just the three of us. I was looking forward to pool time, the beach, breakfast at Clear Sky Cafe, dinner at Crabby’s Dockside, and finding activities we’d all enjoy. When the weather started looking uncertain- and not just the normal rain you can expect almost daily in Florida- we decided to postpone the trip until Thanksgiving. Then I spent hours trying to find a different family vacation: flights, four-star hotels, tropical-feeling pools, activities, free night certificates, points, and even short cruises. I had ten tabs open and five pages of notes, and still couldn’t find a trip that felt right. I’m disappointed we won’t be in Clearwater next week, but I’m glad we have it to look forward to.
