What started as a short jungle trek quickly turned into an unforgettable experience as the monkeys slowly became curious enough to climb down from the trees, onto our arms and shoulders, for biscuits. Seeing wild monkeys this close — completely free in their natural habitat — was honestly surreal. Alongside the monkey encounter, we also try local exotic fruits, explore more of Puntarenas, and back onboard we stop by Rojo …. just for cheesecake… priorities 🍰.
