Southampton Cruise Port Day 🇬🇧 | Exploring the Historic Old Town Between Cruises

We had one day in Southampton between cruises, so after checking into the voco, we headed out to explore the city on foot. Southampton turned out to be a lovely place for an easy port day: medieval walls and fortifications, historic pubs, classic British architecture, colorful flowers, and centuries of maritime history. Parts of Southampton’s medieval walls still survive, and the city has famous connections to both the Mayflower and Titanic.
