We missed our train in Italy... and it changed everything!
Our trip from **Venice to Ravenna, Italy** definitely did not start the way we planned. 😅 We woke up late, missed our original train, and had to figure out how we were going to get to Ravenna without losing the entire day. Luckily, we found another train and eventually made it to Ravenna a few hours later than expected. And once we arrived? We decided we weren’t letting a rough start ruin the day. We checked into our hotel and headed out to explore **Ravenna, Italy**, taking in the streets, the atmosphere, and of course, the FOOD. We tried traditional **Ravenna piadina**, stopped for tapas and drinks, wandered through the city center, and finished the evening with some Italian gelato. Ravenna ended up having such a relaxed, local feel compared to the crowds of Venice, and even though we had less time than we planned, we really enjoyed the time we had there.
