Our overland rail journey through mainland China continues! After exploring the panda capital of Chengdu, we hopped back on the high-speed rail line and arrived in the mind-bending, multi-dimensional "Cyberpunk City" of the world: Chongqing! As a slow-travel channel that strictly avoids flying, stepping into this vertical mountain city was unlike anything we've ever experienced. Built across steep river cliffs and massive valleys, Chongqing is a place where the 1st floor can suddenly be the 22nd floor, and high-speed trains literally pass through residential apartment buildings!
