Certified sensory inclusion destination
I discuss Carnival Cruise Line's new Celebration Key private island destination, which has been certified as a sensory inclusion destination—the only cruise destination in the world with this certification. We talk about how they're providing comfort and care for passengers with autism, dementia, and other sensory sensitivities through specialized kits including noise-cancelling headsets and fidget wheels. As a cruise line attorney, I applaud this initiative while questioning why cruise lines don't apply the same third-party consulting approach to other safety issues, and I encourage other cruise lines to follow suit.
