Arriving at Tokyo International Cruise Terminal and want to get to Shibuya without paying for an expensive taxi or tour? 🇯🇵🚆 In this step-by-step guide, I’ll show you exactly how to get from Tokyo International Cruise Terminal to Shibuya using Tokyo’s train system — including how to find Tokyo Teleport Station, which platform to use, where to get off and how to finish at the famous Shibuya Crossing and Hachiko Statue! 🚢 STEP 1 — Leave Tokyo International Cruise Terminal When you leave Tokyo International Cruise Terminal, walk up the driveway towards the main road. Cross the road and head towards Tokyo International Cruise Station. 🚶 STEP 2 — Walk Towards DiverCity Tokyo Plaza You’ll see a large car park on your right. Walk straight through the car park and continue through the park towards DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. Keep an eye out for the giant life-size Gundam robot — you can’t miss it! 🤖 🚉 STEP 3 — Find Tokyo Teleport Station Walk through or around DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, following the signs towards Tokyo Teleport Station. As you leave the plaza, take the ramp or lift up towards the station entrance. At the top, turn right and you’ll see Tokyo Teleport Station on your left. 🎫 STEP 4 — Enter the Station Take the lift or escalator down to the B1 ticket gates. Simply tap through using your Suica app or PASMO card. Head to Platform 1 for trains towards Shibuya. We caught the Rapid train towards Kawagoe, which travels through Shibuya. 🚆 STEP 5 — Get Off at Shibuya Get off at: 📍 Shibuya Station — JA10 Once you arrive, follow the signs towards Hachiko Square. Tap out using your Suica or PASMO. Turn right as you exit… And you’ll find yourself right at the famous Hachiko Statue and the incredible Shibuya Crossing! 🇯🇵🐕 💴 HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? The journey is approximately ¥530 one way using an IC card such as Suica or PASMO. 💡 TIP: Using an IC card makes travelling around Tokyo much easier.
