Bay of Islands Rocked … Had the BEST Day! 🇳🇿🍷 I spent an incredible day in the beautiful Bay of Islands with my good friend and fellow performer, Miss Amber Jade, and honestly, this is why I LOVE getting off the ship and discovering what’s beyond the port! From wandering the Paihia art and craft market to catching the ferry across to historic Russell (Kororāreka), this day was full of beautiful scenery, delicious food, local wine and unexpected little gems. ✨ 🍲 A delicious seafood chowder at the legendary Duke of Marlborough Hotel 🍷 A flight of local Bay of Islands wines and wine lovers, the Chardonnay is definitely worth discovering! ⛪ A visit to Christ Church, New Zealand’s oldest surviving church 🛍️ Quirky little shops and charming historic streets 🍺 Finishing the day with a local IPA at Nauti Penguin And next time I’m back? I’m booking a tour and taking my adventure to the skies with a PARAGLIDE! 🪂😂 My advice? If your cruise ship docks in the Bay of Islands, GET OFF THAT SHIP!
