Welcome to Princess Cays (Princess Cay), Princess Cruises’ private island in the Bahamas! In this full walkthrough we arrive by tender, explore both sides of the island, and share practical tips so you know exactly what to expect. We start on the quieter Serenity Beach side (head right after you get off the tender — far fewer people). You’ll see the beautiful creek and mangroves, the food pavilion, free chairs vs. rental clamshells/umbrellas, and the crystal-clear water. Then we check out the busier main beach area, Banana Beach Bar, stingray encounter, shopping, and the cabanas/bungalows (some with AC). Key things covered: Tender process and wait times Why you should go right for Serenity Food (ribs, BBQ chicken, burgers, salads, etc.) and when it opens Princess Plus / Premiere drink packages honored on the island Rental prices (clamshells ~$45, lockers $10, snorkel gear, etc.) and why you need to book ahead Snorkeling spots and water conditions Cabanas vs. exclusive bungalows Restrooms, first aid, shopping, and overall heat/comfort tips It’s a hot day (as always in the Caribbean), the water is gorgeous, and the island is well set up — but a few things sell out or get busy if you don’t plan ahead. Hopefully this helps you decide how you want to spend your day at Princess Cays! If you’ve been, drop your favorite spot or tip in the comments.
