Where I've Been (This One's Personal)
This one's personal. It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted, and I wanted to explain why. I've lost two people close to me to cancer within five days of each other, and I'm still very much in the thick of it. I'm so grateful for the support of family, friends, and this community over the past couple of weeks - it's meant more than you know. We're turning grief into action. On Daffodil Day in August, either Michael or I will be taking a cold water plunge in support of Cancer Council, and you get to vote on who takes the dive. Getting there meant having referees vouch for my work, so a genuine thank you to those who supported my application.
